Welcome to A Cupcake for a Rainy Day!
I've always had a passion for baking. I've enjoyed baking since I was a kid. Or shall I say I enjoyed eating the baked goods? I suppose I do owe my love for baking to my mom, for she is an incredible baker. She has baked for as long as I can remember. She makes the most amazing desserts. I hope to share some of her recipes on my blog.
As for cupcakes, I fell in love with cupcakes a few years ago. I love the colored icing, the perfect swirl dashed with some sprinkles to bring it to life. I love biting into a moist, melt in your mouth cupcake to find cream filling to top it off, for the perfect cupcake. I had cupcakes for my wedding with a giant cupcake on the top stand for my wedding cake. I loved my wedding cupcakes so much I started baking more and more, baking my own creations, which made me really love baking.
I have spent hours and hours looking at food blogs on the internet. I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while and here I am,I finally started one. The hardest part was finding a name that wasn't taken! I hope all goes well! If you have any requests feel free to leave a comment. I would love additional ideas.
